Alex is so friendly. My exam was quick, they were transparent about the non-covered and co-pay costs upfront without me asking. The post exam glasses selection was easy and Alex worked within my budget. Super friendly and easy experience. This is my annual eye exam location and I would recommend it to everyone!

From the comprehensive eye exam to helping me select the perfect pair of glasses, every step of the process was handled with the professionalism and attention to detail. Dr. Mai and the staff are excellent. I have been going here since 2017 and been extremely satisfied with the annual exams and the service with my glasses. The service/support for my glasses has been excellent over the years (adjustment to the frames etc). Highly recommended.

Made an appointment for my first contacts fitting not even sure if I was eligible for contacts. VSP insurance was used for part of the cost for both the fitting and ordering of my contacts. It was so easy and the Dr. was so helpful in telling me options, explaining how contacts work, taught me how to put them in, gave me several samples to try out and ultimately I ordered a year supply. Such Freedom and choices now and I never thought this was possible.

I have been with this company for almost 20 plus years. Before it was located in Geneva. The staff are great and the service is very on point. Only time I didn't get my appointment with them was when my insurance changed. Went back as soon as I confirmed my new insurance covered back to Geneva Eye Care

I’d like to say that Dr Ung is extremely qualified to answer any and all of your concerns, she converses in easy to understand dialogue to address your concerns. I had my first eye checkup, and my husband, who goes every year, said he has never experienced a checkup like this before. Dr. Lyly Ung is truly amazing so friendly, kind, and professional. The checkup was extremely thorough. I have never seen a doctor like her.

Dr. Fogg & Dr. Barseghian are both excellent ODs. The service is exemplary, I never have to spend too much time in the waiting room, and the staff is kind and wonderful. I have seen Dr. Barseghian for most of my adult life when she was at her previous office.

Stellar! I am extremely particular about my eyes and highly critical of any Optometrist. My experience at Blink was impressive. The office/store is nice and bright, with a seemingly endless selection of glasses across a variety of styles, from sporty to sophisticated - and the staff was very helpful and friendly as well. Once I was "in the chair" I noticed that everything was very neat and clean - and Dr. Fogg washed his hands right in front of me to start the session. I love that! Everything went smoothly and he let me know if he needed to touch my eye, making things comfortable for me the entire time. The whole experience was absolutely exemplary. I highly recommend Blink to anyone who sensitive about their eyeball experiences!

Came here to get glasses and contacts. My previous optometrist was no longer around; so I chose here based on location and reviews. I was not disappointed. Though small, the facilities are nice and they have a decent selection of frames. Staff is friendly and Dr. Lai is super nice, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I'm glad I have a new optometrist!!!

I wanted to start off by thanking Dr. Sharon Ho for all of her and the Eye Works team for their incredible help and in such a timely manner. Within a few weeks of my first visit I was able to get assessed, prescribed scleral lenses, and had them adjusted to fit me perfectly. The entire experience was outstanding. I could immediately tell Dr. Ho was an expert with my specific eye disease(keratoconus) and did such an amazing job with explaining every concern and symptom that I had with great detail, a true master of her craft. She even pushed to have my scleral lenses expedited due to an upcoming trip to Europe. I truly felt that my needs would be met and that I had someone fighting for me to see again. She is one of a kind! A few years prior I had gone to another optometrist and team but the experience wasn't great and the option they provided with me was horrendous so I had lost hope of ever seeing again. But once I put on my scleral lenses with Dr. Ho's help all I can say is WOW! I have nearly 20/20 vision now and I couldn't be happier! I'm so excited and relieved that I can now see so that I can pick up my past hobbies and interests. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't discovered Eye Works of San Mateo, it was truly life changing. Thank you to their wonderful team for giving me back the incredible gift of sight! I was seen by the receptionist, technician, and doctor immediately one after the other with no wait and on time. Dr. Lai and the team were so professional and knowledgeable, making the process of the exam, prescription, and contacts ordering a breeze. This will be my eye place forever 🙂

I've been going to San Mateo Eyeworks for a few years now to do annual glasses and contacts prescriptions - friendly doctors and staff, plenty of frame selection, and they will walk you through what your insurance covers, doesn't, and how to apply the various discounts, extras, etc. I'd definitely recommend them to people looking for prescription glasses and/or contacts.

I have been going to Eyeworks of San Mateo for five years to have my annual eye examination and get updated prescription for my glasses. The optometry is conveniently located in downtown San Mateo. The office is clean and pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Gary Lai is very personable, patient, and knowledgeable. He always takes time to explain things, share advice, and discuss my concerns. Dr. Lai is also very experienced and thorough with his work. He identified a medical issue with my vision and recommended that I see an ophthalmologist. He is simply the best optometrist I have worked with. I feel very lucky to have found Eyeworks of San Mateo, and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good optometry to fulfill his/her prescription glass needs.

Dr. Sharon Ho is incredibly kind and attentive, and she answers questions with genuine enthusiasm. I came in for a contact lens exam, and she made sure the fit was exactly right for my prescription. She also provided trial lenses so that I could try different options and decide what worked best for me. I really appreciated the time she took to explain the science behind my symptoms. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the visit. I would highly recommend this place!

The staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed when I arrived for my appointment. I really appreciate Dove Canyon Optometry. A couple years ago they spotted a problem with my eyes that led to me getting some necessary treatment and helped me prevent more issues with my eyesight down the line. Friendly office that is very friendly and helpful and runs generally on time. Dr. Kostura is always friendly and gives me the best advice and answers all of my questions without hesitation. I've been going there for several years and have had excellent results. I was willing to pay a few extra dollars for the new retina camera and the picture upgrade was obvious even to an untrained observer. The field of view was huge compared to the old camera. I would definitely recommend this office for your routine eye care, contacts or glasses.

The staff are very patient and helpful, even when you are taking an hour to choose a new pair of glasses (there is a large selection of styles and brands). I always feel comfortable and well-informed during my eye exams. My husband, daughter and I have been going to Dr. Dagron for eight years. It involves a driving about 40 miles just one-way to Eyes On You Optometry. Dr. Vincent Dagron is a great optometrist and super nice guy with an immaculate taste. He is a true professional. We had some bad experiences with other places when wrong eyeglasses prescriptions were given. Jenny who has been working many years for Dr. Vincent is friendly, helpful and sharp. Dr. Dagron is quiet and thoughtful. He speaks and asks questions for benefits of his patients. Yes, this eyeglasses store is not a "supermarket " for eyewear. You would appreciate the quality and sophistication of frames Eyes On You Optometry offers.

Been going here for years. Great selection of reading glasses but very limited sun glasses. Staff is beyond welcoming and helpful. Always so about me and my family. Super easy to get an appointment. Doctors are very professional, to the point and explain everything very well. I never feel like I don't know what is going on or what the issues are. The glasses come in very quickly and they do a great job of adjustments and getting them to fit. Highly recommend.
