Dr. Ramsey received his post-graduate degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1975. He started his professional career with the Eye Clinic of Wichita, Kansas and later Advanced to private practice for several years until relocating to California in 1986. He had been an associate doctor with several prominent Bay Area practices until starting his own practice, Optometric Images Vision Care, with Dr. Gary Ozaki in 1991.
Besides practicing general optometry, he has special interests in the fields of Contact Lenses and Ocular Disease management and treatment. he has held membership in the American Optometric Association, the Heart of American Contact Lens Society and the AOA Sports Vision Council. He has served as the consultant and chief eye case specialist for both university and professional sports teams in his career. He also consults patients in the field of Lasik refractive surgery. Dr. Ramsey has been married to his wife, Marsha for 40 years and they have 3 adult sons Parker, Bryant, and Hale. He enjoys spending his spare time on the golf course.
